Everybody knows about experiencing culture shock when you visit a country with different customs, cuisine or language. But sometimes the worst culture shock of all comes when you return home.

Reverse culture shock is the name people give to that feeling of not fitting in to your home country, and you’re especially at risk of it if you return home after living abroad for an extended time.

Feb 1. First day of my practicum and it was great! In fact I not only learned a new thing or two but I tasted one too I ate spam! The principal who invited me to lunch with some of the staff was impressed enough that he grabbed his iphone and took a picture : ) I have to say it tasted pretty much like a hotdog.
